Sheepicorns midfielder joins the Seasiders

Marske United have confirmed the signing of young midfielder George Thewlis from Ossett United.
The 18-year old is Curtis Woodhouse’s sixth signing since he took charge at the beginning of November.
He joins a Marske side sitting 15th in the Premier Division, with an FA Trophy dream still intact.
Thewlis, started out with Bradford’s youth setup in 2020 before he put pen to paper with the Sheepicorns ahead of the current season.
He appeared eight times for Grant Black’s outfit this campaign. and netted once in a 3-1 home victory against Grimsby Borough.
The new addition will add depth in numbers to the squad, ahead of their next league game away to Nantwich Town this coming Saturday.
