Shepshed Dynamo announce charity partner

Shephed Dynamo have announced that their charity partner for this coming season is Raising Health.

The Leicestershire and Rutland based charity promotes community health, mental health and learning disability health services.

Shepshed Dynamo said in a statement: "We hope our partnership will not only raise vital funds, but promote a better understanding of mental health in our community, work places, and with friends and family.

"We aim to get people thinking and talking differently about mental health, one in four people will experience a mental health problem this year, in the UK that will be 14 million people!
That is why we are working in partnership with Raising Health to inspire change.

"If you need urgent mental health support, ring the free (24/7) Central Access Point helpline on 0808 800 3302.

"Through the season we will have a couple of games where Raising Health will be in attendance to help us in raising awareness and much needed funds.

"Your kind donations could help go above and beyond to support patient’s recovery, whether that is through activities like gardening, craft-making, cooking experiences, photography or music sessions, or keeping our free patient transport service going."
