Skipper and cup winner head Ashton list of eight

Ashton United have announced eight players who will be remaining with them for 2022/23.
The winning goalscorer in the Manchester Premier Cup final, Ben Hardcastle, heads the list, alongside skipper Michael Brewster.
Defenders Harry Coates, Sam Baird and Tom Warren, who suffered a season ending injury against Guiseley in December, have penned new deals.
After joining the club in February, Cole Lonsdale has committed for next season after making 17 appearances.
Completing the list is goalkeeper Greg Hartley and midfielder Sam Sheridan, who could make his 150th appearance for the Robins in 2022/23.
