Smalley extends Hyde stay

Dominic Smalley’s loan deal at Hyde United has been extended until the end of the season.

Smalley, 29, joined from Chester at the start of December and his original loan deal expired on Boxing Day.

He has made seven appearances for the Tigers so far, and featured in the 1-1 draw in the EVO-STIK League Premier Division against Buxton on New Year’s Day.

The right-back helped Ashton United win promotion to National League North last season, winning their Players’ Player of the Year award.
