Smith leaves Radcliffe

Centre-back Rick Smith has left Radcliffe.

Smith has made 168 appearances for Boro since arriving in 2017, but announced his decision to leave the club on Twitter.

He said: “My time at Radcliffe has come to a end for now! It’s been a pleasure to play for this club for the last two seasons and get promoted with a group of players and staff that I call mates.

“Thank you to all the fans for their continuous support through the good and the bad times! It’s not little old Radcliffe anymore, it’s the Boro! Good Luck to Lee, the players and the staff for next season. See you all soon!”
