The former Romulus and Rushall Olympic boss, pictured, was snapped up by Yeltz manager John Hill on Tuesday as his new first team coach only three days after leaving the managerial hot-seat at EVO-STIK League Premier Division and West Midlands rivals Sutton Coldfield Town.
The Amsterdam-born former Ajax, Bolton and West Bromwich Albion midfielder replaces Kieron Jackson who cannot give the role the attention it demands due other commitments but is staying on as a valuable member of Hill's touchline team.
Hill said: "We are delighted to have such an experienced and respected person as Richard on board, it can only serve to enhance our chances of improving our performances and results."
Sneekes, who was succeeded by Neil Tooth at the rock-bottom Royals on Monday after he returned to Coles Lane, kicked off his coaching and management career as assistant academy coach at Tamworth before being unveiled as first team coach at then League Two side Hereford United in 2011.
The 49-year-old's first management role came in 2014 when he took the helm at Rushall Olympic before before switching to Sutton Coldfield Town in late 2016.
