South Shields striker makes Stafford loan move

South Shields have announced that striker Ntumba Massanka has joined Stafford Rangers on loan.

Massanka, 25, made 15 appearances for the Mariners last season and scored 5 goals, including a brace on his debut in a 3-0 victory over Mickleover.

The striker joined the Tyne and Wear side from Italian club ASD Angelana in July 2021.

He spent his formative years in multiple youth systems including Manchester United, Manchester City and Burnley.

During his time at Burnley, Massanka enjoyed multiple loan spells at National League sides Wrexham, Dover and Chorley, where he made 69 appearances across four seasons and scored 9 goals.

Included in his repertoire of clubs, Massanka also has Football League experience, making 12 appearances for Morecambe and York City.

Since joining South Shields, the striker was loaned out to Stalybridge Celtic and Boston United.
