Spalding United sign Enoch Opayinka

Spalding United have confirmed the signing of Enoch Opayinka.

The former Boston United and Peterborough United academy prospect has scored six goals in eight starts for Pinchbeck this season and could make his debut this weekend against Halesowen Town.

“I’m delighted to have signed for Spalding," he said.

"I believe this is the right move for my footballing career and I’m at the right place to help with my development.

"I know Bruno well and from my time at Peterborough United and he always got the best out of me."

Manager Gabriel Zakuani added: "Enoch is a player we were aware of having previously been involved with Peterborough and Kings Lynn.

"We’ve been keeping an eye on him for a while and he’s proved that he’s more than capable at Step Five and now more than capable of stepping up.

"We want to be part of his development as a player and his pace and eye for goal is something that’s very exciting to now be able to work with.

"I look forward to seeing him work hard and take the opportunity."
