After signing the biggest deal in their history with Direct Textiles last season, the Whites are being sponsored again by the UK’s leading specialists in promotional promotional garments and work-wear over the the 2016-17 EVO-STIK NPL First Division South campaign.
Based in North Hykeham, where they have 40,000 square feet of production capacity, Direct Textiles print up to 80,000 garments a week and embroider over 18,000.
As well as adorning United’s new Macron ‘Tabit’ home kit which was launched at the recent Lincs FA Senior Cup semi-final with Lincoln City and sponsoring the club's coaches to away games, Direct Textiles also feature on their away strip, players’ travel wear and on the ‘Arthur Simpson’ stand.
Delighted Lincoln United chairman Ian Beaumont said: “This season’s sponsorship by Direct Textiles follows on from their first major partnership with us last season and we thank them for their continuing support.
"We are an ambitious club and the relationship we have with Direct Textiles will help us in our efforts to bring a higher level of football to Ashby Avenue, as well as go towards our plans for gradually improving the ground for our fans.”
Direct Textiles’ managing director Mark Somerfield, said: “We were pleased to be part of Lincoln United’s successful season last year when the team narrowly missed out on promotion and we are all behind them again this year.
"We will encourage all of our staff to attend as many of the games as possible and hope our involvement in the club helps to make this season the one when we actually do gain promotion.”
