Stanley exits Lancaster

Defender Craig Stanley has left Lancaster City to join Kettering Town in the Southern Premier League Central.

Stanley, 35, arrived at The Giant Axe in the summer and had six games as caretaker manager following the early season departure of Phil Brown.

In total he made 27 appearances for the Dolly Blues.

A former England C international, Stanley played 174 times for Morecambe, helping them reach the Football League, as well as playing for Hereford United, Torquay United, Bristol Rovers, Southport and Lincoln City.
