Station sends out SOS for sponsor

EVO-STIK League Matlock Town are looking for an emergency sponsor to help get the club's in-house TV channel up and running again.

The Gladiators sent out an SOS for a financial backer before hosting Altrincham on Saturday after what officials called a "huge hardware failure" with their main camera during MTFC TV's broadcast of their 3-2 win over Hednesford Town on Tuesday night at the DCJ Group Insurance Arena.

Officials at the EVO-STIK League Premier Division club say the new sponsor can look forward to seeing their logo featured on all of MTFC TV's popular highlights shows until the end of the 2017-18 season if they can help the club replace their faulty equipment.

The footage is broadcast online via the club's website and YouTube channels and a spokesman said: "We are looking for sponsorship from companies who wish to have their logo featured in all highlights videos for the rest of the season which will be seen by thousands of people from all over the UK and the world."

He added: "This will allow us to keep the highlights which are hugely popular free to view for all Gladiators fans and fans of Non-League in general as well as keeping the service going."
