Tadcaster bring in versatile defender

Whitby Town defender Nathan Dyer has completed a move to Pitching In NPL East Division side Tadcaster Albion.

The Brewers' latest recruit is a natural right-back, but is capable of operating across the backline and also in midfield.

Dyer, 21, signed a two-year scholarship with York City in the summer of 2018 and made his debut for the Minstermen in the following October. He made nine league appearances for York in total, starting four.

He joined Grantham Town in time for the start of the 2020/21 campaign, looking to gain as much experience and game time as possible.

Dyer then signed for Whitby ahead of the 2021/22 season following a successful trial period.

“I am excited at the prospect of playing for Tadcaster Albion," Dyer said. "The manager has put together a squad that can compete at the top end of the league."
