Talent Identification Day at Curzon Ashton

Club Academy students support coaches.

Tameside Sports Development brought down to Curzon Ashton FC their talent identification day, for all children in Tameside with physical and learning disabilities.

Curzon Ashton Academy students supported qualified coaches in the delivery of fun sessions to allow the children to enjoy a morning of football on a nice autumn day.
All the children who enjoy the day were invited back to attend Tameside Titan’s sessions on Monday evening’s at 6.00pm to 7.00pm on the Curzon Ashton FC FieldTurf Pitch.

The Academy students gained valuable experience in the sessions as they look forward to starting their FA Level 1 course at the club on Friday 14th October 2011. In a short space of time the Academy has gone from strength to strength with two team victories’ and the start of a major coaching course.

Team captain Elliott Walsh says ”In a short space of time we have covered all aspects of playing and coaching football, I am really looking forward to my FA coaching course what hopefully will start me on the ladder to a job in coaching and developing young footballers.”
