Testimonial tucker for stopper!

By David Watters

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Barwell treated keeper Liam Castle to a testimonial dinner on Friday night.

After helping the Canaries to a ninth-placed finish in his tenth season at the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League club, the 28-year-old joined his teammates, manager Jimmy Ginnelly and officials and volunteers for a night out at their local Italian restaurant.

A Coventry City fan who lives locally in Earl Shilton, the former Basingstoke stopper arrived at Kirkby Road in September 2006 from Hinckley United before establishing himself as the club's first choice keeper.
