Thursday's First Division North action review

By David Watters

Glossop North End took another stride towards securing a top five finish in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's First Division North after winning by the odd goal in five at mid-table Bamber Bridge on Thursday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Mark Reed proved to be the Hillians` hero at Irongate, netting a hat-trick with the opener after 19 minutes, a second on 42 minutes and then, after Stuart Vasey after 44 minutes and Regan Linney on 67 minutes had pulled Brig back on level terms, bagged the winner 12 minutes from time.
