After guiding the Reds to the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight promotion play-off final and Cumbrian County Cup success, manager Derek Townsley is the new general team manager at Borough Park with his assistants from last season, Lee Andrews and Dave Hewson, becoming joint managers.
The Reds announced they would be using a new formation ‘up top’ next term on Thursday after the trio, pictured, reviewed their respective roles and proposed the changes to the EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division club's board.
Workington chairman Glenn Heathcote, pictured below, said: “Derek has been concerned about the number of games he has missed throughout the season which was more than he envisaged. That put more focus on the other two members of the team, so from next season, David and Lee will become joint-managers with Derek assuming the title of general team manager."

He added: "All three wish to emphasise that they are all fully committed to continuing the excitement and success of the last two seasons and this re-structure of titles will not have any effect on how the team is managed and coached."
