Warrington Town were crowned champions a while back now and made it 33 wins with one to play on Tuesday night with a 3-1 success at Stainton Park over Radcliffe Borough.

The hosts had led through veteran striker Jody Banim`s 24th minute effort until the 70th minute when Daniel O`Donnell pulled the champions back on level terms. Six minutes later and O`Donnell doubled his and the Wire`s tally, with a Ciaran Kilheeney penalty making the points safe in stoppage time.

Fifth-placed Burscough won 4-2 at the Butcher`s Arms against Droylsden.

Will Jones after 19 minutes and a Liam Caddick brace on 25 and 31 minutes gave the Linnets a commanding lead that Michael Monaghan added to eight minutes into the second half. The Bloods reduced the deficit by two through Dan Parkinson on 58 minutes and then Brandon Zibaka 18 minutes from time.

Andy Keogh scored the only goal of the game to earn Mossley AFC victory at Seel Park against a now third-bottom Scarborough Athletic, while Lancaster City will be a little nervous on the final day when they host bottom-markers New Mills.

Kendal Town became the latest side to beat the Millers, goals from Ross Parkin after 47 minutes and Mike Aspin just past the hour-mark on target for the Mintcakes, leaving the Dolly Blues to try and ensure they don`t become the Millers only victims of a forty-two game campaign!
