An emergency services XI made up of fireman, policeman and medics are taking on a Sky Blues side including former New Mills assistant manager Shaun ‘Feed the Goat’ Goater, Ian and David Brightwell, local lad who made it to number one Eric Nixon, Paul Dickov and fans favourite Neil Pointon in a 3pm kick-off.
As part of a family fun day in aid of Redeeming Our Community who run the initiative for local young people in partnership with the First Division North club, organisers say they are laying on barbecue, a pre-match junior tournament, bouncy castle, stalls, face painting, the best DJ in the North West and much more.
Tickets are priced at £3 for adults with children going free when the turnstiles open at 11am.

Barnes said, “The lads still love to play and whatever side we put out has blue blood running through it even down to Tommy [Booth] who will kick the game off.
"They give up there time to help many good causes and are always pleased to reminisce with the fans. I have friends going back a long way at Radcliffe and I am always only too willing to help out for a good cause to get lads off the street and playing football.”
ROC's Steve Ranftler said: “It is such a worthwhile cause that has had a dramatic impact in anti-social behaviour in the Radcliffe area. When functioning it can have up to 50-70 youngsters involved in one night and we need funds to keep it continuing.”
