Wednesday's First Division North action review

Northwich Victoria went a long way to achieving a third place finish in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's First Division North on Wednesday night with a 3-0 home win over lower mid-table Kendal Town, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Iain Howard gave Vics a 12th minute lead that Brian Summerskill doubled five minutes before half-time. Matt Regan ensured the points were the home side`s with a third after 63 minutes to leave Vics two points above Glossop North End with three games remaining – one of which is a battle between the two next Wednesday night!
