The EVO-STIK League North promotion-chasers have been swamped with messages of congratulations since collecting the trophy for the second season running on Thursday night with a 4-0 win over Marine, Chris Almond and Lloyd Dean from the spot on target before the break before Dean again and Joshua Klein-Davies completed the scoring.
After retaining the trophy they won last year by beating Southport, well-wishers apart from their own fans on Twitter alone included the official account of their local police station in Prescot and even the Football Development Agency!
Gracious opponents Marine led the way, congratulating their conquerers while fans and photographers among the big crowd posted images from the final at the Marine Travel Arena home of the EVO-STIK League Premier Division's Mariners.
@PNEPolice tweeted: "Congratulations to @PrescotCablesFC tonight on their Liverpool Senior Cup win.......great result given that your big daft goalie was walking round work all day with a hot water bottle strapped to his back! We expect him in on time in the morning?"
Others also praised the stewarding at the cup final, @roverkopite writing: "Shout out to the stewarding @MarineAFC tonight. Sensible and low key, allowing fans and players to celebrate together on the pitch ???"
Another summed up the mood among celebrating fans with the promotion play-offs to come for Cables boss Brian Richardson and his cup kings on Merseyside.
Cables fans also drew plaudits themselves with @JamesEdgar8 posted: "The boys where on another level tonight @PrescotCablesFC and the fans where just as good @CablesNation @DugoutIrregular take this in to the playoffs now."
Cables fans also drew plaudits themselves with @sjrcarson tweeting: "The fans of @PrescotCablesFC are an absolute credit to the club, they didn't stop singing all night long and played no small part in the Cables' victory over @MarineAFC in the @Liverpool_CFA Senior Cup final."
