Whitby named as new chairman

David Whitby has been unveiled as the new chairman of EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Stamford AFC.

The appointment of the former commercial director at the Zeeco Stadium was announced in a statement on the club's website on Thursday.

The new Daniels chairman succeeds Bob Feetham who stepped down at the EVO-STIK NPL First Division South club’s AGM back in April.

* The Daniels are looking forward to entertaining Peterborough United in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 29 July after the League One club agreed to be their first high profile opponents of the summer at the Zeeco Stadium.
