Wil Shaw joins Consett revolution

Consett have signed promising teenager Wil Shaw from South Moor AFC.

The 19-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at his former club, has impressed in the Wearside League over the last three seasons.

Shaw was crowned Players’ Player of the Year for South Moor in 2021/22 but will now step up three divisions to link up with Consett, who play in the Pitching In NPL East Division.

He becomes the club's sixth summer signing as manager Tony Fawcett continues to re-shape his squad ahead of the new campaign.
