Wild seeks manager's job after departing Matlock

Dave Wild has left his role as Matlock Town assistant manager.

The former Mossley boss moved to Matlock in January 2020 to work alongside Paul Phillips.

He was previously assistant manager at Maine Road and Northwich Victoria, as well as manager at Stockport Town.

Wild tweeted: “I’ve enjoyed absolutely every second of my spell at the club and I have met some incredible people.

“I want to thank Phillo for giving me the chance to work at Step 3 building invaluable experience and giving me my love for football back after a really tough spell.

“It was always my aim to stand back on my own two feet as a manager and I feel that time has come again for me, wherever that may be.”
