The talented winger was snapped by former Crawley boss Dean Saunders midway through last term after helping the new First Division South club on their way to the Midland League Premier Division title and promotion to play at the highest level in their history this season.
Anderson, pictured, featured in the West Sussex club's first team squad for the remainder of last term but was left in limbo following the summer departure of former Welsh striking legend Saunders and his replacement at the Broadfield Stadium by Mark Yates.
Officials at the Nottinghamshire club say they were "delighted" to take advantage of the changeover at the Red Devils and re-sign the 23-year-old on a one year contract after last Thursday night's friendly draw with Premier Division Ilkeston FC.

An exciting midfield talent, in shining last season Anderson attracted attention from a host of Football League clubs including Leicester City, Notts County and Wolves before sealing his move.
Anderson, who featured in Saturday's narrow 2-1 defeat at home to Brighouse in United's final warm-up outing, should be in manager Martin Carruthers’ squad for Saturday's opener away to Gresley FC.
Carruthers has also been boosted by the return of two key players to his starting line-up ahead of the big kick-off to the campaign, last season’s Notts FA Cup hat-trick hero Stuart Hendrie and top scorer Reuben Wiggins-Thomas, well known to EVO-STIK NPL fans from his time at a number of clubs including Carlton Town, Buxton, Matlock Town, Hucknall Town and Witton Albion.
