Woodley announce commercial plans

Stockport-based club outline fan survey, 1000 Club.

First Division North side Woodley Sports a community engagement push to welcome new fans into the football club and the image to the general public of Stockport and wider areas.

The club have created an online survey for not only supporters of Woodley Sports but anyone who has visited the Neil Rourke Stadium this season to send them your views on your match day experience.

Commercial Manager Rick Smales told the Evo-Stik NPL website, "The survey results will go a long way in us as a Football Club moving forward in the future and making the whole match day experience much more supporter friendly and a fun interactive element for everyone of all ages."

The survey is live until 8th February and the club ask all supporters of any Club within the Evo-Stik Leagues to send them your views on how your visit to The Neil Rourke Stadium went.

Sports have also launched a new FanZone section to their official Pitchero website.

Smales said, "Connecting with the local community is any football club's number one priority, keeping the engagement between the club and supporters and general public is even more of a priority but also very challenging.

Becoming a FanZone member is free, and if you are interested in becoming a member and would like to know more about what goes on behind the scenes at Woodley Sports FC and also how you can help grow our Football Club visit the official website www.woodleysportsfc.co.uk and click the FanZone link, all you need is an active Email account.

"The FanZone section is a great way to keep supporters informed of our progress both on and off the pitch. Within the FanZone pages we have added a number of suggestions on how anyone can help grow our Football Club, some areas as simple as joining our Facebook page, Following on Twitter, inviting your friends to come and watch our Home games through to becoming one of our 1000 Club Members.

"We have something for all ages within our FanZone too as anyone can Download our Match Day posters to be displayed in schools, colleges and the work place inviting everyone to come and watch Woodley Sports FC play."

The club has also announced the launch of our 1000Club, an ambitious project with the aim to have 1000 Members signed up to the Club. Members can range from existing supporters, general public, local businesses and even large corporations, each member will be added to the list within our website for all to see.

Said Smales,"The benefit of becoming a 1000 Club member for just £5 per month allows you entrance to any of our Home games for a Concession price. We will send out your own unique 1000 Club Membership Cards; simply show this on entrance to any Home game to receive your concession entry price.

"The 1000Club will go a long way in supporting the club financially and also allowing us to build stronger connections with each member over the coming weeks/months.

"We will be putting in place rewards, prizes and competitions for all members to help grow the group and reach our target of 1000 members as soon as possible."
