EVO-STIK League Division One South club Rainworth MW will begin pre-season training at their Kirklington Road ground on Tuesday 28th June (7-9pm) when all players of suitable standard for the first team or reserves (Central Midlands Reserve Supreme Division) are invited.

Training will take place at the ground on Tuesdays and Saturdays when there is no pre-season fixture, and on Thursdays at Joseph Whitaker School (3G pitch).

Meanwhile more pre-season matches have been added to the Wrens’ build-up for the 2011-12 campaign, including a home game against Notts County on Saturday, 30th July (3pm).
Away matches at Clipstone Welfare and Long Eaton United have also been added to the pre-season list which is detailed below, while a date for the proposed game against Boston United has now been fixed for Saturday, 6th August – the final Saturday before the league season begins on 13th.

Please note that the summer BBQ and fun day which was originally planned for 25th June has now been re-arranged to co-incide with the Wrens’ home friendly against Mansfield Town on 9th July

As part of the build-up to the day the Wrens will be running a competition in association with local radio station Mansfield 103.2 to be mascot for the match. It is also to be announced on radio that a match sponsor is being sought. The sponsor will receive five VIP tickets for the match.
