Alex Doyle signs Marine contract

Marine have announced that Alex Doyle has re-signed ahead of the Pitching In Northern Premier League 2021/22 season.

The former Salford City midfielder made his debut for the Mariners in the opening league game of the curtailed 20/21 season at Dunston, making 11 starts plus one appearance from the bench during the last campaign.

Manager Neil Young said: “It’s great to be able to bring Alex back to the club on a permanent basis. He was excellent on loan with us last season and has league experience. He has come back in great condition and I am expecting big things from him this season.”
