Bamber Bridge swoop for Riley and Fyles
Bamber Bridge have announced the signing of midfielder Regan Riley and forward Ben Fyles.
Riley joins the Brig following a spell with newly-promoted Bury, who he left in order to seek regular first-team football.
The 23-year-old started his career in hometown club Bolton Wanderers’ academy, spending over a decade with the Whites.
He went on to join Norwich City in the summer of 2021, featuring regularly for the Canaries’ Under 21s over a three-season spell.
Following his departure from the club, Riley secured a move to Radcliffe and has remained in the north-west ever since, linking up for the Shakers in the summer of 2025 and making 26 appearances in total last season.
Giving his thoughts on his move, Riley said: “I can’t wait to get playing again.
“I’ve had a few injuries in the past, so I’m looking to stay fit and do what I can do to try and get promoted.”
Meanwhile, Fyles makes the step up to the NPL ranks after a season with Nelson down at Step 5 of the English football pyramid.
During his time with the club, he made 22 appearances, scoring six times.
The versatile 22-year-old was a product of the Blackburn Rovers academy, having joined the club at the age of six, and progressed right through to their Under 21s side whilst also being on the fringes of the first team.
Jamie Milligan’s side will be looking to build on a 12th-place finish last season, after they ended the campaign nine points adrift of the play-offs.
