Blyth Spartans retain key forward ahead of new season

Blyth Spartans have announced that experienced forward Jack Foalle has signed a new deal to remain with the club for next season.

Foalle, who arrived from Hebburn Town back in November, played a major role in Spartans' fight to avoid relegation during the second half of the 2025/26 campaign.

The 31-year-old notched seven goals and seven assists for his new club as they finished six points clear of the drop zone.

In recognition of his efforts, Foalle was crowned Blyth Spartans Trust Player of the Season and was also the winner of the 2025/26 Billy Fenwick Award, given to the player with the most assists.

"I am absolutely delighted to be extending my stay here and continuing my playing career with this club for the foreseeable future," he said.

"When I first joined back in November, I made clear my commitment to bring high standards and expectations to everyone in order to secure our place in the division.

“Now that we have achieved this, the focus shifts to building on that foundation, driving the club forward and returning Blyth Spartans to the level a club of this stature belongs at.”
