Craig Rouse wins March Manager of the Month award

Competing at Step 3 for the first time in the club's history, Rouse has ensured not just another season at this level for the Owls for 2026/27, but also ends the month with his side knocking on the door of the play-offs.

Despite starting the month with defeat against Whitby Town, a seven-game unbeaten run throughout the remainder of March saw Cleethorpes climb to eighth in the Northern Premier League table.

That run included four wins, two of which came against sides in the top half.

Although a late push for the top five would rely on the teams above slipping up, it has been a memorable campaign for Rouse's men nonetheless.

And with home games still to come in their remaining fixtures against Hebburn Town and Hednesford Town - second and third in the table respectively - Cleethorpes may yet have a major part to play in the outcome of the title race.

Joining Rouse in the shortlist for March's award were Workington's Billy Barr, FC United of Manchester boss Mark Beesley and Hebburn Town's Daniel Moore.
