Curtain brought down on 2024/25 season

The Northern Premier League and its 88 clubs descended on Blackpool for the annual AGM and awards weekend to celebrate and complete the 2024/25 season.
The weekend started with the showcase event on Saturday morning, that enables clubs to mingle and engage with league partners, including Hummel, app2tap, Chryso, FWP, Marsh, Fanbase, Match Day Creative, Wiseman Lighting, Meglio, Wyscout/Hudl and Streamline Content.
Then came the formal proceedings of the AGM, with representatives of all clubs from the 2024/25 season and clubs entering the NPL for the 2025/26 season, including those coming down from National League and those coming up from Step 5 divisions.
At the AGM, Hummel presented each individual club with a bespoke shirt featuring their club colours and a club logo to demonstrate what they could offer to clubs as the league’s new teamwear partner.
There was the usual AGM agenda to run through, including tributes to those we have sadly lost during the season, and update on finances, rule changes and governance.
A motion to remove the ‘blank Saturday’ in March, usually left empty to accommodate blanket postponements due to the weather, from the fixture list was passed following a vote of clubs.
Attention then turned to the evening dinner at The Winter Gardens, which was kicked off by entertainment from the Almost Strictly dancers, and Eurovision singer Sonia rounded off the night.

Awards were presented to the Golden Boot winners from the four divisions, followed by the respective Player of the Seasons, the NPL Rising Star and the Technical Area Conduct award, won by Whitby Town.
Then came the opportunity for the play-off winners and league title winners to be presented with their trophies once more, on the stage, and be interviewed on their achievements by host for the night and NPL chairman, Mark Harris.

The NPL would like to thank all member clubs for their support and effort in coming together for the AGM and awards weekend, the work of the team in putting the event together and appreciation for the staff at the Winter Gardens.
