Guiseley's Ian Richards crowned October Manager of the Month
Guiseley boss Ian Richards has been voted our Northern Premier League Manager of the Month for October.
Last month, the Lions enjoyed success on multiple fronts, not least in the league where they collected three straight wins before ending October with a battling point at league leaders Redcar Athletic.
They also progressed through two rounds of the FA Cup to reach the first round proper for the fifth time in the last decade, setting up a meeting with National League side Sutton United at Nethermoor on Saturday afternoon.
Sitting third in the league at the end of the month, they remain firmly in the early-season hunt for promotion and have further impressed in both the FA Cup and Trophy as well.
Also on the shortlist for October's award were Quorn manager Ryan Beswick, Redcar Athletic's Carl Jarrett and Gainsborough Trinity boss Russ Wilcox.
