Heaton Stannington sign promising full-back
Newly-promoted NPL East Division side Heaton Stannington have announced the signing of 18-year-old defender Kailem Beattie.
Beattie arrives having spent his youth career in the academy of Championship side Sunderland.
Last season, he made 15 appearances in the U18 Premier League, registering two assists.
Having featured for the Stan in pre-season, Beattie signs his first senior contract ahead of their first season in Step 4.
They start their East Division campaign at home to Belper Town on August 10.
