Job vacancy: registrations manager
The Northern Premier League invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the new post of registrations manager.
Full-time 38hrs – circa £28,000 per annum
Employed or contractor status
This is an opportunity to join the NPL at an exciting time in its development as the league ramps up its support for member clubs. A key member of our officers’ team, the post holder will be responsible for administering the player registrations process in accordance with FA rules.
Please note that this is not the same role as advertised earlier this summer. That role has been re-defined following a review of responsibilities.
The role reports to the CEO and involves daily communication with NPL clubs, dealing with enquiries and processing registration documentation, and engaging with the FA.
The successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of league and FA rules especially relevant to player registrations, and associated FA systems particularly iFAS. The role also demands daily use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
The successful candidate must be able to combine empathy for club personnel with the strength of character to apply the rules consistently and impartially.
The role is primarily Monday to Friday 9am-to-5pm, however the successful candidate must be flexible in terms of responding to urgent enquiries raised out of hours.
The position is home-based but will involve attending league events, so a full driving licence and use of a vehicle is necessary.
Outside of the registrations period, you will be required to assist with other league processes and the organisation of the annual AGM and presentation dinner, amongst other duties arising.
Please apply with a CV detailing all relevant experience and a covering letter noting the qualities and attributes you would bring to the role, to league CEO Angie Firth via email to [email protected] to be received by Monday 4 August, 2025.
