A flawless month on the league front saw Stalybridge pick up nine points from a possible nine.
They also scored six goals in two of those games.
Celtic gave a good account of themselves in the FA Cup, losing out to National League North side Chester 2-1.
They also progressed through a round of the FA Trophy at the start of the month, defeating Trafford 2-0.
Over 2,000 votes were cast for this month's Step 4 Manager of the Month award, with Macken taking home more than half of those.
He defeats Craig Elliott of Bradford (Park Avenue), Bury's Dave McNabb and Rugby Borough manager Dave Stringer, who were also shortlisted.
