Josh Brehaut voted April Manager of the Month
Leek Town boss Josh Brehaut has been crowned Northern Premier League Manager of the Month for April.
A flawless end to the campaign saw Leek win all five of their games in April, off the back of a 1-0 win at Morpeth Town to end March.
Such form saw the Blues climb six places in the table, from 14th to eighth, during the final month of the season as they finished within six points of the play-offs.
Formerly assistant to Neil Baker, Brehaut was promoted to the role of manager at the end of August 2023.
His first full season in charge ended with a 15th-place finish in the NPL Premier Division, having concluded the previous campaign as West Division champions.
A trio of home wins in April, plus victories away at Stocksbridge Park Steels and Workington, mean Leek ended the season as the form side in the division.
Completing the four-man shortlist for April's award were Hyde United manager Michael Clegg, Hednesford Town's Kelvin Davis and Hebburn Town boss Daniel Moore.
