Long Eaton boss departs after three years in charge

Long Eaton United have announced that manager Brad Munn has left the club by mutual consent.

The decision brings to an end his time at Grange Park after just over three years in charge.

He arrived at the club as joint manager alongside Lewis McGugan in August 2023, ahead of the club’s first-ever season at Step 3.

Previously at Loughborough Dynamo, Munn took sole charge in November 2023 and steered the club through a demanding campaign in the Southern League Premier Division Central.

They have gone on to rebuild over the past two seasons in the NPL Midlands Division, achieving back-to-back top-half finishes.

Munn oversaw more than 150 matches in charge, his final one being a 3-1 home win against St Ives Town which was just their second league victory of the campaign.

The Blues find themselves 20th in the NPL Midlands at the time of Munn's departure, four points from safety.

"On behalf of everyone at Long Eaton United, I want to thank Brad and his management team for their commitment, energy and loyalty over the last three years," chairman Nick Dargan said.

"They took on the job in difficult circumstances and gave everything for the club.

“They leave with our gratitude and best wishes, and will always be welcome at Grange Park.”
