Long Eaton capture Carlton’s Howes
Long Eaton United have completed the signing of Carlton Town midfielder Alex Howes.
The 26-year-old joins the Blues with vast experience under his belt after five seasons with Carlton, where he made over 150 appearances and scored 18 goals.
His impressive career CV to date also includes loan spells at Tamworth and Coalville Town, plus five appearances for boyhood club Notts County during their 2016/17 League Two campaign.
Howes’ attributes will be key in Long Eaton’s push for promotion in the NPL Midlands Division. Brad Munn’s side finished 10th last season, five points outside of the play-offs.
