Mark Beesley wins October Manager of the Month award

Nominated for the second time this season, Beesley oversaw a perfect five wins from five in October.

After a difficult September, the Reds have responded in perfect fashion and remain within touching distance of top spot.

They also progressed through two rounds of the FA Trophy, setting up a mouth-watering home game against National League North side Darlington, scheduled for mid-November.

Beesley edged a closely-fought vote this month, with Ilkeston Town manager Ian Deakin, Warrington Rylands' Neil Reynolds and Ian Richards also up for nomination.
