Matlock Town hand new deals to key quartet, including manager

Matlock Town manager Ryan Cresswell has signed a contract extension with the club until at least the end of the 2025/26 season, with three of his players also agreeing new deals.
Cresswell took charge of the Gladiators back in September, replacing Nicky Law.
The former Sheffield boss inherited a Matlock side which sat bottom of the Northern Premier League table, and has since guided them out of the relegation zone.
Their change in fortunes has been thanks, in large part, to a fine run of form at home which has seen them pick up 21 points from their last 10 league games at the Proctor Cars Stadium.
Also agreeing to remain in Derbyshire for a further season are captain Josh Granite, and midfielders Adam Clayton and Fouad Bachirou.
When he joined the club in September, Granite became Cresswell's first signing since taking charge.
Former Football League veteran Clayton and Comoros international Bachirou made their respective moves in October - the former previously featuring more than 500 times across the English second, third and fourth tier, and the latter having began his career with French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
To date, the trio have made a combined total of 50 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Confirming the new deals, a Matlock statement read: "Their decision to stay with the Gladiators matches the club's desire and ambition to climb the non-league pyramid, and lays the foundations for the season ahead."
