Michael Ellison reunited with title-winning midfielder at Linnets

Michael Ellison has made his first signing as Runcorn Linnets manager following his return to the club last week.
Ellison has been reunited with midfielder Harry McGee, who worked under the former Widnes boss during the Black-and-Whites' title-winning campaign in the NPL West Division last season.
Following their subsequent resignation from the league last summer, McGee joined Lower Breck, who currently sit top of the West Division after a fairytale start to life at Step 4.
Ellison has already inherited three of last season's Widnes squad - Matty Rain, Sean Miller and James Steele - and will also be joined in the APEC Taxis Stadium dugout by Lee Bignell, who was part of his backroom team at Widnes.
Ellison took over from Brad Cooke, who announced his surprise resignation after a heavy 5-0 defeat to Witton Albion on New Year's Day.
They are currently sixth in the table, just one point outside of the play-offs.
