NPL preview | Battle at the top headlines midweek action
There are two intriguing fixtures on the way from the NPL Premier Division, where we could see new league leaders by the end of Tuesday night.
Tuesday's featured game sees joint table-toppers Cleethorpes Town welcome Redcar Athletic to the HPS Plant Hire Stadium.
Cleethorpes lead Redcar by one point in the table and know they'll need to be at their best against the only side in the division still boasting an unbeaten record.
Redcar have also won three of their four games on the road this season, drawing the other.
Meanwhile, Cleethorpes' only setback of the league season so far came in their last NPL home game, where they fell to a 3-1 defeat against Curzon Ashton at the end of August.
The night's other game sees 14th-placed Hyde United visit Leek Town.
Leek come into this game third-bottom, with just one league win to show from their nine games so far.
And following a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Bromsgrove Sporting in the FA Cup over the weekend, the Blues will be hoping that a return to league action can signal a change in fortunes.
Their opponents, Hyde, have won just one of their last five in the league but have had extra time to prepare for Tuesday's clash, after being knocked out of the FA Cup in the earlier rounds.
All games will kick off at 7:45pm, unless stated otherwise.
