Prescot make first summer signing

Prescot Cables have announced the signing of Tom Scully from Leek Town ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 26-year-old midfielder joins the club after two seasons with the Blues, where he made 66 appearances as he helped them secure promotion to Step 3 at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

Scully was a product of the Everton Academy, but departed the club to join Norwich City in 2018.

He made his professional debut for the Canaries in a 2-1 defeat against Oxford United in the EFL Trophy.

In September 2020, he made the move to Accrington Stanley, making several League One appearances before being sent on loan to Northern Irish outfit Carrick Rangers, and then Nantwich Town, subsequently joining the Dabbers on a permanent deal in November 2022.
