Preston pair head to Lancaster

Versatile Nolan, who can play at centre-back, in midfield or at right-back, has been named in Preston’s matchday squad on eight occasions this season, the last of which was last weekend against Portsmouth.

Left-sided defender Brindle is in his third scholarship year at Preston.

Manager Jimmy Marshall said: "I'm delighted to sign Ed and Jonny on an initial month loan. I've watched them both this season and they are both versatile lads who will both add different strengths

"Hopefully it will be a beneficial loan for both of us. I am thankful to PNE and particularly James Beet for facilitating both moves."

Both players go straight in to contention for this weekend’s home game against Leek Town.
