Seasiders beat off competition to sign forward Bolino
Bridlington Town have swooped to sign highly-rated forward Luca Bolino from Ossett United.
Bolino has previously had spells with Tadcaster Albion and Harrogate Railway, and the Seasiders say there was significant interest in his services from across the region.
Manager Scott Kerr said: "I am over the moon to get Luca on board, especially as he has had lots of interest from other clubs.
“I’m a big fan of Luca—he fits the profile of player we are looking for perfectly. He is quick, direct, and hard-working, with a top mentality to improve both himself and us as a team. He is a young lad, but he has already played a lot of games at this level and will be a fantastic asset.”
Bolino will officially link up with his new teammates when the squad reports back for pre-season training in a few weeks' time.
He said: "After speaking with Scott and hearing about the ambition and environment that’s been created here, I felt it would be a great fit for me. I am really looking forward to getting going and hopefully contributing to a really successful season for the club."
Bridlington have also recently completed the retention of defender Ben Whelan and the permanent signing of midfielder Eddie Kettlewell.
