Spencer joins newly-promoted Emley
Ahead of their return to Step 3 football, Emley have announced their latest signing in the shape of central midfielder Jamie Spencer.
The 28-year-old adds a wealth of experience to Richard Tracey’s squad, having made 79 appearances for Guiseley across three spells in West Yorkshire, the first of which began back in 2019.
The former Huddersfield Town academy product also enjoyed spells with Spennymoor Town, Worcester City, Kidderminster Harriers and Bradford (Park Avenue).
Ahead of their first campaign at Step 3 in 25 years - the result of two promotions in three years - the Pewits have looked to act decisively in the transfer market.
The experienced Diego De Girolamo has made the move to the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground, with further Step 3 experience arriving in the shape of versatile midfielder Aaron Haswell from Whitby Town.
