Sporting Khalsa announce signing of Aruba international
Sporting Khalsa have a new forward in their ranks after announcing the signing of Aruba international Isai Marselia from Midland Football League side Romulus.
The Dutch-born striker, who is currently away on international duty, previously represented Coleshill Town before joining Romulus ahead of last season.
The 27-year-old started his career in the youth ranks of Go Ahead Eagles in the Netherlands, representing the club at U19s and U21s level before making the move to the UK in July 2018, linking up with Mickleover.
Marselia made his international debut in a World Cup qualifier against Curacao earlier this month, his side falling to a 2-0 defeat at the Estadio Guillermo Próspero Trinidad in Oranjestad.
Khalsa enjoyed a comfortable mid-table finish in the NPL Midlands Division last season, securing 12th spot despite winning just one of their final nine league games.
