Stocksbridge announce three new additions
Stocksbridge Park Steels have confirmed the signings of Jack Degruchy, Paul Iggulden and Michael Roxburgh ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Degruchy, 21, is a former Doncaster Rovers player who came through the ranks at York City.
The young midfielder made his professional debut for the Rovers in July 2022, in a 0-0 draw against Bradford City.
While on loan at the League Two side, Degruchy enjoyed multiple loan spells at the likes of FC United of Manchester, Marske United, Kettering Town, Hanley Town and most recently, Liversegde, where he made 29 appearances and scored on one occasion last season.
Joining him at Bracken Moor next season is defender Paul Iggulden.
The 19-year-old centre-back makes the move to the Steels after departing Hull City. He initially joined the Tigers at the Under-13 level, and penned his first professional contract with the club in 2018.
It will be Iggulden's second stint at Stocksbridge, after linking up with Ian Richards' side on loan last season, making 45 appearances in all competitions and scoring five goals.
Stocksbridge Park Steels have also confirmed the return of goalkeeper Michael Roxburgh.
Roxburgh, 22, will ply his trade at Bracken Moor for a third time after signing for the club on two separate loan spells in the 2021/22 and 2023/24 campaigns.
The former Hartlepool United and Huddersfield Town academy player brings a wealth of experience between the sticks at non-league level from his time at Spennymoor Town, Liversedge, Emley AFC and Sheffield.
