Triple swoop for Congleton Town
Congleton Town have announced the arrivals of Dallas Omoruyi, Joao Soares and former player Peter Williams, continuing a busy transfer window for the Bears.
Omoruyi, 21, adds depth to Richard Duffy’s side on the wing following spells with Stockport Town, Hyde United and FC United of Manchester - while Portuguese midfielder Soares comes to the Cleric Stadium after playing for Daisy Hill and transitioning through the Macclesfield academy and reserve squads.
As for Williams, 33, he is a familiar face in midfield to Bears’ fans, having spent five seasons with the club.
Despite moving to Abbey Hulton United in pre-season, Williams has now returned to the club where he made his name.
