Wellingborough boss Jake Stone named Step 4 Manager of the Month

Wellingborough's August has been nothing short of perfect - eight games played in all competitions, and eight wins to their name.

The Doughboys have won five from five in the league to sit top of the NPL Midlands Divisions, with their two closest challengers at the time of writing having played one and two games more respectively.

The goals have been spread across the Wellingborough squad in the early weeks of the season too, with eight different players on the scoresheet already in the league and six of those having scored two or more.

Stone's side have certainly hit the ground running, and with 44.1% of the votes, this award recognises the impressive start they have made.

Beaten to August's award were Danny Forrest (Liversedge), Alan Morgan (Bootle) and Connor Patterson (Shifnal Town).
